Mom Life: Screw Resolutions, 2022 is the Year of Affirmations

But I Want to Lose Weight. I Want to Sleep More. I Want to be the Best Mom to My Kids.

Stop. Just stop.

You are enough.

I promise you this is true.

Mom guilt is fucking real. If you aren’t a mom there is no way you can relate. Not trying to offend anyone here but facts are facts.

Do dad’s experience this guilt? No, not on the same level as we do.

You will never convince otherwise. Sorry dads – we love you, but man, the countless hours worrying about every single thing we say or not say, do or not do is, in one word EXHAUSTING.

It’s time to screw the resolutions and focus on true self-care and self-worth in 2022.

I Don’t Have Time for Affirmations

Okay… What does this mean?

Do you know how positive affirmations work?

According to Ronald Alexander Ph.D., the best way to do positive affirmations is to speak them out loud at least three times a day for around five minutes. He suggests doing the first-round while getting ready in the morning, so you can look at yourself in the mirror while reciting the positive statement. (Branded Surveys)

Let’s break it down: 15 minutes a day. We can do this. We can do this together.

Now ask yourself, where will YOU make time in YOUR day?

  • In your bathroom/room while you are getting ready for the day
  • In the car after dropping the kids off
  • On your way to work
  • On a walk
  • After a workout
  • Before a workout
  • Running
  • Getting ready for bed
  • What did I miss? I want to hear from you.

This Seems Too Overwhelming

Don’t let it be.

Make it simple.
